AromaSense’s Clove bud essential oil carries a powerfully penetrating aroma with a typical spicy, woody, and somewhat sweet undertone.
Rich in Eugenol, Clove Essential Oil is well known for its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic benefits; here are some of its main therapeutic applications:
Digestion: it can be added to the Digest blend or diluted with a Carrier Oil, then massaged into the abdomen to improve digestion.
Compromised immunity: for adults and kids aged 12 and up, add a few drops of Clove bud essential oil to the Defense Blend and massage the back and chest.
Muscles & articulations: Clove offers warming effects, reduces pain, and increases the body’s resistance. Clove Bud can be used sparingly in massage blends for pain and inflammation, including sciatica. It blends well with both our Sore Muscles and Move blends.
Skin: Clove Bud has remarkable antibacterial and antifungal effects. Use in low concentrations in combination with a skin-protecting oil such as Lavender or Roman Chamomile. It can also be added to our FungAid blend.
Emotional wellness: Clove has a warming effect on the senses and an uplifting, antidepressant potential. For this purpose, it can be used in a diffuser or an inhaler combined with Sweet Orange, Cinnamon, Lavender, and Ylang-ylang.
